5、 Properties: white monoclinic crystal or powder, odorless. It has bitter and salty taste, also known as anhydrous mirabilite. The relative density is 2.68, the melting point is 884 ℃, soluble in water, the aqueous solution is alkaline, soluble in glycerol, insoluble in ethanol. Exposed to air, it is easy to absorb moisture and become aqueous sodium sulfate. Anhydrous sodium sulfate with high purity and fine particles is called sodium sulfate.
